I spent most of my time in Belgium in Brussels and Brugge.
Brussels is the largest city and is, like most large cities, too busy, noisy, and hectic for my tastes.
So here I'm going to show my pictures from Brugge, an idyllic town an hour outside Brussels.
Brugge is a testimony to human-oriented town planning. Brugge is one of the most human-scaled town I've ever been in. Every inch of it was comfortable to be in.
Brugge has several fortified gates that were entrances to the
town. The town is surrounded by a moat so the gates were the only
entrances to the town.
Inside the gates there is the idyllic town and it's many waterways.
